Daisy, still in a jail holding cell thanks to Alan, gets a visitor - Reva. Daisy explains what happened and Reva tells her that she will go the renewal of vows ceremony for Gus and Harley to try to get one the of the Cooper cops to help Daisy. Later, Daisy's one phone came to see her - Rafe. At first he tells her that she should've called a lawyer or someone else because he can't help her in there, but she responds, saying that he already has helped with his presence. When he hears how afraid of going back to juvie she is, Rafe tells her that he'll stay with her. Just then, Frank shows up and tells Rafe to go home. He lets her out of jail, and Frank tells her that she needs to go home now because her mother needs her.

Alan gets a call (from who, we don't know) and the caller tells him that Jonathan and Sarah are alive and living in Tourmaline, CA.

As Gus is focused on trying to find Rafe, thinking he's sick thanks to Alan, Harley and her family are waiting for him at the diner where they are to renew their wedding vows. Harley is putting on a cheerful front, but is really feeling very upset by Gus' no-show and by the fact that he is unreachable. As a result, Harley's doubts about Gus and their marriage grow stronger. She steps outside to take a break from making excuses for his absence, when Jeffrey comes along looking for Reva, who was supposed to meet him there for the ceremony. Harley starts venting about what's going on to Jeffrey. Jeffrey offers his support in whatever way she wants, but tries to re-assure her that she and Gus are the kind of couple that people hope to be like, and that he's sure they will work things out.

Meanwhile, Gus finds Rafe, and Natalia, at the hospital and anxiously wonders what's wrong with Rafe. After discovering that all is fine and they are only picking up records to take to a diabetic specialist, Gus realizes how Alan caused him trouble yet again, and immediately leaves to go to Harley. After he leaves, Natalia tells Rafe that although she and Gus will not be together, he should still spend time with him because it's his father.

Gus finally makes it back to Harley and explains that Alan led him to believe that Rafe was sick and that he had to go to his son, but how it all turned out to be another one of Alan's attempts to break him and Harley up. Gus asks if she got his note and tells her that he left one and finds out that Harley never got it. Harley, who by now has a look of a person who has made a painful decision, tells him it's over. She adds that he had a decision to chose her or Natalia and Rafe, and he did not chose her, and that it will always be that way. Harley tells Gus that although they know the love is there, she feels Gus isn't all there for her. Gus, fearing he is losing Harley, tells her he won't let go of her or their marriage. As he tries to open a door for Harley, she starts to smack him away and keeps slapping him, and he tries to hold her off, then tells her to go a head and fight, that he wants her to fight for their marriage. He tries to kiss her, but she pushes him away. She tells him that she believes that he needs to see things through with Rafe and Natalia, so he can stop wondering "What if..." What would have happened if he never left Chicago, never left Rafe and Natalia. Harley feels that he could resent her some day if she doesn't give him the chance to go find that answer. In a sad, heartfelt moment, she tells him she loves him, that they had a great marriage, but she can't share him. She leaves him standing alone, as she walks inside the diner. And with that, Gus and Harley go their separate ways.

Reva is at home gathering a few things quickly before she goes to Gus and Harley's event when Alan knocks on her door. After she tells him to release Daisy from jail, she tries to get him to leave. But Alan starts talking about Tourmaline, CA and how he is going there to see about investing in a mine and to see what else he finds there, Reva starts to wonder if he knows that Jonathan is still alive, and with panic in eyes, she rushes out of the door.

Jeffrey, now inside the diner and still looking for Reva, overhears Frank on his phone and finds out that Reva was at the jail to Daisy but left, leaving Daisy still in jail. Thinking that Reva wouldn't leave daisy like that, Jeffrey becomes more concerned. As he continues his search, he comes across Ava, who says she saw Alan and how he was ranting about the Coopers, and that he said something like a threat to Reva but she didn't take it seriously. When Jeffrey expresses his concern that he can't find her or reach her, he presses Ava to tell him what Alan said. Ava, with a whiney tone because she'd rather not help Jeffrey and Reva's relationship, tells him the bits and pieces of what she heard Alan say, something about being done with her once and for all, and something about taking her up in a plane and dumping her in the ocean. With this, a very concerned Jeffrey quickly leaves.

He goes to Reva's home and sees some things look as though they are strewn about and a desk looks as though it was rummaged through (though this was all Reva's doing when she anxiously looking for something). Jeffrey also sees Alan's partially smoked cigar in an ashtray, then calls to try to find out where Alan is.

Remy is on Main Street on a date with Lola when his sister Mel happens by. Mel pretends to not be happy that Remy defied her request to stay away from Lola, and Remy seems to relish the fact that his dating Lola bothers Mel, which is his motivation to keep seeing her. After Mel leaves, Lola aggressively flirts with Remy, and suggests they go to the courthouse to have some fun, private time (the details are whispered into his ear). He tells her that he's surprised to hear this coming from her, who he considers a good church girl. She confesses that his family set him up and really thinks it's a good idea for him to be with her. He asks her what's in it for her. She replies that being with him is one thing, but that she also wants to get some fast cash, says that Mel mentioned about his gambling, and wants to know if Remy can get her in. He tells her there's not a game tonight, and asks about Plan B. She kisses him wantonly, and they go to her room at the Beacon. As they are in the hall outside of her door, Remy starts to take off his shirt, then suddenly sees Natalia. He changes his mind about Lola, says goodnight to her, practically shoving her into her room, then turns to Natalia. She tells him he was right when he said Gus would never leave his wife, and also right about Alan. Remy tells her that although there are many reasons why she's all wrong for him, he still cares for her, but it can't be like it was before - she can't turn her back on Remy to be there for Gus if he shows up at her door again. She tells him that she realizes Gus will always love Harley, and that he is not her Nick anymore and they are not kids anymore, and it's time for her to move on, and she's ready now to do that.

The show ends with a musical montage while we see the following scenes:

* Harley lays her bouquet on top of the trash.

* The Coopers console each other with a family hug - Buzz, Frank, Marina, and Coop.

* Gus sits alone on a bench on Main Street, looking devastated.

* Harley at home, looking at a wedding picture of her and Gus, crying, crying, then curls up on the couch. Daisy walks through the door; Harley looks up at her with deep sorrow on her face.

* Back to Gus on the bench, and Rafe walks up and sits beside him. They don't talk, but the men share this very sad moment, father and son.

* Back to Harley, now laying her head on Daisy's lap, crying, as they share this very sad moment, mother and daughter.

Inside the Light: It Takes a Thief

While Alex works on the computer, Cyrus sits in the study enjoying a Bonnie and Clyde flick. The movie brings up memories of he and Dinah robbing a house. In the past Cyrus hopped out of the window half naked with the goods. He stole a very heavy diamond necklace from Madame Bovary while she was still in the shower. They sped off, congratulating themselves on their coo.

Later on Main Street, Alexandria introduces Cyrus to the Country Club committee. They are considering him for membership. Another member of the committee arrives wearing a replica of the necklace Cyrus remembered stealing. She immediately outs him as a man named Fallon. He ripped her off on the Cote D'Azur. Alex defends Cyrus, claiming the theft wasn't a big deal. She had insurance; she got the piece replaced. Alex claims that Cyrus is reformed, trustworthy and honest-too good for them to judge for their little club.

As the Country Club members leave, Cyrus spots Marina across the way. He remembers how after the heist, he told Dinah that one has to have no feelings and no distractions. He sits with his back to Marina and toasts champagne with Alex.

Later while donating twenty-five thousand dollars to Buzz's champagne, a reporter challenges Alexandria on supporting Buzz against Alan's candidate. Cyrus jumps at a chance to defend Alex. Cyrus calls Alexandria intelligent and capable, not needing Alan's approval or anyone else's. In fact, she'd make a better CEO for the company than her brother. Flattered, Alex adds that she has great taste, too, and she winks.

Some time later, Cyrus meets Griggs in the alley and gives him more Spaulding access codes. Griggs wants to strike today, but Cyrus waits for the perfect time to do a job that will set him for life. Griggs comments that he's already set for life right where he is. Depends on the kind of life, Cyrus responds. Griggs feels skeptical about whether he's partnered with the legendary Stone-Cold Cyrus or a new Cyrus that has actually started to care for those around him. Cyrus remembers Dinah repeating Cyrus's mantra, "No feelings, no distractions."

While talking to Griggs, he sees Mallet bring Marina through the hospital doors with a knee sprain. As Mallet goes to get a doctor, Cyrus slips in to talk to her. She asks if he went to her father's fundraiser. She doesn't want him to mess it up for Buzz. Cyrus would never dream of messing up Buzz's campaign. He'd make a great mayor and the Coopers are an inspiring family. Mallet returns and Cyrus leaves.

On Main Street, he runs into Dinah, who has been following him, looking for dirt to sell to Alex. In conversation, Dinah tells him that it's obvious that he loves Marina. She asks him why he left her. Cyrus turns the conversation, thinking it would be so good for Dinah if he were in love with Marina because then she'd have stuff to report to Alex. Cyrus warns her not to follow him again until she gets better at it.

At the mansion, Cyrus and Alex dine in the study. Cyrus continues to woo Alex, telling her that she's her own person and she can do anything she wants. She doesn't need anyone. Alex believes that changed when Cyrus came into her life. He showed her how to have fun again. Cyrus's face darkens and Alex adds that it doesn't have to end like Bonnie and Clyde for him anymore. Later he stares at the DVD of Bonnie and Clyde, remembering a time when he and Dinah were trapped after breaking into a home. They had scaled a wall and Dinah wondered what was so important that he made him return to the house that they had just robbed. Cyrus said he was checking to make sure they were insured.

Later, Marina hobbles on crutches into her hotel room at the Beacon. A noise in her bathroom causes her to draw her gun. Cyrus comes out in nothing but a towel, telling her that he's there to come clean about what he's doing at the Spaulding house and why. After he gets dressed, he decides it's better to show her than to tell.

Back in the past, Dinah and Cyrus made their getaway. He brought her to a farmhouse, which was empty and for sale. He told her that it reminded him of a story his mother would read to him about Koalas that lived in a similar home. Frustrated, Dinah couldn't believe that he wanted to reminisce about childhood stories while gunmen were chasing them.

In the present, Cyrus shows Marina a photo of the same farmhouse, located in Province. In conversation she deduces that he has planned a job on Alex to get the money to go back to Province and buy this house for himself and for Marina.

On Main Street, Marina refuses to go to France. In fact, she tells him that she's a cop and she has to turn him in. Cyrus begs her to take a chance. Marina toils over her feelings but tells him that, if he goes after the Spauldings, she will come after him. He pulls her heartstrings. She says she can't do this any more and hobbles away.

While staring at the photograph, Griggs comes up behind him. He watched him with Marina and now he knows that Cyrus has been lying to him. He doesn't want to end up in jail while Cyrus romances a cop. Cyrus tells him that millions of dollars is all he should be worried about. "You, too," Griggs replies.

In the past, he and Dinah scoped out the farmhouse. She thought the house looked lived in. Just then, a car pulled up with a family inside. Dinah looked at Cyrus and asked him if this was what he wanted, a family life. He denied it and whisked her off the porch before they were seen.

Back at the mansion in the present, Cyrus sits at the computer. He pulls up a website containing the Spaulding trusts. He contemplates what he is about to do. At the police station, Marina hops around on crutches. She tells Mallet she hates her crutches and tosses them against the wall. Mallet remarks that Marina doesn't depend on anyone or anything. He used to be that way before Dinah. Marina wonders if he likes it depending on Dinah. Mallet wouldn't change it for anything. Even his integrity, Marina wonders.

At CO2, Cyrus stares at the photo again. He is accosted by Marina who takes him to Harley's house. She wants to know how he expects to get away with this. She again tells him that she's a cop. If that's all she is and nothing more, then Cyrus admits that he has made a very big miscalculation. Marina is angry that he revealed his plan, expecting that she do nothing to stop him. She shuns him for trying to rob the woman who protected him from immigration. He thinks Alex will get over it and realize that she knew what he was all along. Marina finds it hard to grasp that he wants her to stand by while he robs Alexandria and then move to the south of France with him. Cyrus gives her the photo. She knows his secret now. He says that now his life and hers are in her hands. They leave Harley's front door open. From behind Harley's fence comes a lurking Dinah.

Back at the Beacon, Marina she returns to her room. She stares at the photo and sighs. Back at the mansion, Cyrus stares at the farmhouse for sale on the Internet. He calls someone in France to let him know he'll be wiring the money for the house very soon. Dinah calls him. She informs Cyrus that she got much better at following people since this afternoon.

Josh is back from his retreat, and he and Cassie meet with the lawyer who is finalizing Josh and Reva's divorce papers after the first filing a while back was never processed. Josh is given a pen to sign, and as he flips through the pages, he notices that Reva didn't sign yet, which makes him hesitate, just for a moment. When Cassie asks if everything's ok, Josh replies that he has a strange feeling. Cassie asks if it's about Reva. Josh then says it's nothing and signs the papers.

Later, Josh and Cassie are taking the papers to Reva's house, and as they approach the door, Josh starts to move like he's going to just walk right in, as if he still lived there, and Cassie reminds him that he can't do that anymore. He knocks, and as they wait for someone to answer the door, Cassie tells Josh that there has been some changes since he left, and that Reva doesn't live alone anymore. Then Jeffrey opens the door, to Josh's surprise! He asks for Reva, and Jeffrey doesn't let on that he suspects that Reva may be in trouble, and tells Josh that she's not home. Josh explains that he wants her to sign the divorce papers so that everyone can move on, and Jeffrey tells him that he'll give her the message, that Reva's anxious to move on just like he is, and that he's sure she'll sign. Josh seems to have a bit of a reaction to hearing that, but he and Cassie say their goodbyes.

Josh and Cassie go to the diner where they are to meet Rev. Rutledge, who arrives right after they do. Through conversation, the reverend lets it be known that he thought they were already married, based on the stories he was told about Josh's wife going to the retreat to see him, but then leaving with another man. Josh and Cassie both conclude that it was Reva and Jeffrey, and Cassie appears to somewhat frustrated, and when Josh asks what's wrong, she tells him that he just got back and it's their first day together and they have to spend it thinking about Reva. Just then, Billy calls and asks if he can make an appearance at the housing opening, and Josh said that both he and Cassie would be there.

At the police station, Mallet gets an envelope and discovers that Dinah got a speeding ticket when she shouldn't even be driving. Meanwhile, Dinah sees Cyrus on Main Street and lets him know that she knows his plan to rob the Spauldings after overhearing his chat with Marina earlier. She says she'll keep quiet if he agrees to be her partner in crime again. Cyrus tells her that he'll give a cut of the money, but Dinah tells him she wants some of it up front because the bills are mounting. He writes her a check, and tells her that if she chooses to take the money, it means she's in, and if he gets caught and goes down, she does to. Dinah cashes the check and returns home with a bag full of money. When Mallet gets home, he lets Dinah know the he knows about the ticket. She shows him the cash and tells him they can pay it. He asks her where she got the money from, and Dinah tells him she earned it from her job. Mallet tells her she doesn't have a job that he is aware of, and he is led to think that the money came from Alex for keeping an eye on Cyrus, and he tells Dinah she can't keep the money. In an almost temper tantrum way and with a tone of resistance, Dinah clutches the bag close to her and stomps off with the money saying it's hers, and leaves. She goes shopping, and with her hands full of shopping bags, she comes across Matt, and tells him she bought a gift for his daughter Maureen, and another gift for him. Matt is pleasantly surprised and continues to support whatever Dinah wants to do.

Later, Mallet is at the police station working another double shift, when another female officer brings a bag of money that they got a bust earlier, and asks Mallet to help her count it because she keeps losing count. She leaves the money on his desk, and he begins to count it, then slows, realizing there is a lot of money, and that he could take some and no one might notice.

Alex finds Marina at the police station and asks her to have coffee so they can talk. At the diner, Alex tells Marina that she knows Cyrus wouldn't hurt her on purpose, but she also doesn't want to find that one day Cyrus is gone and that it's all because of Marina. Alex continues, saying that if Cyrus pursues Marina, it will only be to get her in bed, and once he does, he lose interest. Hearing that, Marina stands up and leaves without a word.

Jeffrey is at Cross Creek where the house appears to have been ransacked, the door was left wide open, Alan's cigar is in an ashtray, and Reva is nowhere to be found and can't be reached by phone. Jeffrey wonders aloud if she left in a hurry or if someone forced her to leave, with Alan as a suspect. He calls Ava and asks her to come over. He asks Ava if she knows where Alan is or if she can reach him or has any information on him. Ava tells him that she's called every number she has and doesn't have any further information, not even flight plans. After Josh and Cassie leave, Jeffrey also leaves, to talk to Alex at the Spaulding mansion to try to find out more about Alan's whereabouts. Alex is furious about Jeffrey being there, but still tells him that she doesn't know anything about Alan's whereabouts. Alex does make a phone call to try to find out more information, but finds none. When she tells him that he'll need a court order to get Alan's flight plan, he tells her that he has something better - a Spaulding - and tells her he will pick her up and carry her away to help find Alan. Just then, Cyrus walks in and defends Alex by giving Jeffrey false information, sending him on a trip that isn't meant to find Alan. Alex is impressed at how well he handled that and how he defended her and gave Alan a head start.

On Main Street, Lizzie is trying to help Billy with his schedule of appointments and keeping things running smoothly while Billy continues to drink and has allowed his work to suffer for it. When Billy sees Vanessa, he quickly hides his flask and walks over to her to talk. Vanessa is in a sad mood because of the dividing up of things for her divorce from Matt. Billy speaks tenderly with her, letting her know he's sorry for what she has to go through. Vanessa is thankful to have a friend like Billy, while Billy is hoping they can be more than friends again one day. Vanessa tells Billy that she sees his name in the newspaper often and that he must be doing a great job and that she's proud of him. While they have coffee, a man walks by and says hello to Billy. Vanessa reacts negatively, and Billy asks if she knows Marlon. Vanessa tells Billy that he underbid her and Matt on a project, and after investigating him more, she learned that he used substandard materials that were unsafe. As she tells this, Billy looks more uncomfortable. Vanessa notices this and asks if he is doing business with Marlon. Billy replies with surety that he's not, that he knows a bad deal when he sees it, all the while knowing that he has done business with him.

Later, Billy meets up with Lizzie in her room and finds her on the phone taking care of his business. She tells him that the housing project for low income families is having the grand opening today, and that the press wants to know if Billy or Josh will be present at the event. Billy calls Josh, and asks if he can make it the housing opening event, and Josh replies that both he and Cassie will b e there. Lizzie tries to sober Billy up with coffee so that he can attend, but he covers his cup with his hand, and Lizzie ends up pouring some steaming hot coffee on his hand. As Lizzie is nursing Billy's burned hand, they both notice on T.V. that a building collapsed, and quickly noticed that it was one of the houses they built. Many fears start to come to mind, including that Josh and Cassie might be in there.
