Relative B&B newcomer Rome Flynn (Zende Forrester) has opted to exit the CBS soap. The two-time Emmy nominee made the announcement during a live Instagram video.
"Rome Flynn has decided not to renew his contract," a B&B spokesperson said in a statement to Soap Central. "He has been a valued member of the B&B family, and we wish him much success in all of his future endeavors."
Flynn joined The Bold and the Beautiful in June 2015. Recently, the actor announced that he'd joined the cast of the OWN soap Tyler Perry's The Haves and the Have Nots and issued a message that fans interpreted as a sign that he was not going anywhere.
"Looking forward to joining this amazing cast," Flynn wrote. "Thank you to everyone that has been rocking with me since day 1! New Chapter, New blessing. (P.S B&B fans don't worry, zendaddy ain't going anywhere)."
Earlier this month, Flynn told fans that he would not air on The Haves and the Have Nots until 2018 -- but reminded fans they could still catch him "almost everyday" on B&B.
I start airing on Haves & Have Nots 2018. Bare with me.

But, you can catch me almost everyday on #boldandthebeautiful on CBS :)
While the show would not confirm, it would appear that B&B is planning to recast the role of Zende. The show put out a casting call earlier this month for a "22 to 24-year-old black male" who will be a "leading man" on the show.
UPDATE: Rome Flynn took to Instagram after the news of his exit broke with a message for fans, his costars, and B&B showrunner Brad Bell. You can read his entire message here.
