The Bold and the Beautiful is welcoming Love Island star Kyra Green, who will be guest-starring as a model on two episodes of the CBS soap opera.

Americans have attached themselves to the British reality series Love Island like cold hands on a hot cup of tea on a chilly day. And The Bold and the Beautiful is cashing in on the popularity of the new U.S. version of the dating series by inviting one of its stars to pop onto the canvas for a couple of episodes. According to People, Kyra Green is set to guest-star on the CBS soap opera later this month.

The 22-year-old musician from Harlem, New York, says that filming the B&B episodes scheduled to air on Friday, September 20, and Monday, September 23, was "so rad."

"Everyone, including the crew and actors, were beyond sweet to me," she says. "I was so nervous since it was my first acting job since my Kidz Bop days when I was like ten. I've always loved acting, so I'm so excited to be getting back into it... One of the coolest moments on Love Island was when I was able to host one of the game shows and I had lines!"

Green is set to play a model on B&B, which won't be much of a stretch for her, as she already has experience posing in front of the camera.

"I started doing fashion week in New York, London, Paris, and Milan when I was 16, so it was cool to play that role on the show," she enthuses.

Love Island is a CBS reality dating show that involves a group of contestants, referred to as Islanders, living in isolation from the outside world in a villa in Fiji, constantly under video surveillance. To survive in the villa, the Islanders must be coupled up with another Islander, whether it be for love, friendship, or money, as the overall winning couple receives $100,000. On the first day, the Islanders couple up for the first time based on first impressions, but over the duration of the series, they are forced to "re-couple" where they can choose to remain in their current couple or swap and change. Any Islander who remains single after the coupling is eliminated and "dumped" from the island. Islanders can also be eliminated via a public vote during the series, and occasionally, twists may occur where the Islanders must eliminate each other. During the final week, the public votes for which couple they want to win the series and take home the prize.

This isn't the first time that B&B has invited a reality TV personality to guest-star on the show. Various people from Survivor, Big Brother, and The Amazing Race have come onto the show in recent years.
