Debbi Morgan (ex-Angie Hubbard, All My Children) is stepping back into the shoes of her Power character for the series' upcoming sequel, Power Book II: Ghost.

Daytime fans who miss seeing soap opera alum Debbi Morgan (ex-Angie Hubbard, All My Children; ex-Harmony Hamilton, The Young and the Restless; ex-Jennifer Tartaro, The Bold and the Beautiful; ex-Ellen Burgess, General Hospital/Port Charles) can look forward to watching her in an upcoming primetime series. The Emmy-winning actress is resuming her Power character Estelle for the show's sequel, Power Book II: Ghost.

The upcoming series will continue the dramatic stories of some of Power's well-known characters, picking up the narrative immediately following Power's finale. It will reportedly start with Tasha St Patrick (Naturi Naughton) languishing behind bars for her son Tariq's (Michael Rainey Jr.) sins while the youngster attends college. There will also be new characters introduced, including Monet (Mary J. Blige) and Davis Maclean (Cliff "Method Man" Smith).

Power told the story of James St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick), a ruthless, intelligent drug dealer under the street name "Ghost," who wished to leave the criminal world to pursue legitimate business interests as a nightclub owner. St. Patrick aimed to balance these two lives while avoiding police capture amid a crumbling marriage and shifting economic alliances.

Power Book II: Ghost was slated to premiere on Starz in the summer of 2020, but that could change because production of the sequel was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, fans can get a glimpse of the action ahead thanks to a first-look teaser trailer released by the network.

Although she's best known to soap fans for her work on All My Children and other soap operas, Debbi Morgan has amassed many impressive non-soap credits on her résumé. Some of them include the TV series Boston Public, Charmed, and For the People, as well as the films Eve's Bayou, Coach Carter, and The Hurricane. She previously played the role of Power's Estelle in a recurring capacity from 2014 to 2020.
