EXCLUSIVE: Jordi Vilasuso, Castillos headed back to Pine Valley

All My Children's bold online venture has another Emmy winner on its roster. Jordi Vilasuso announced on Soap Central Live that he's signed with Prospect Park for its AMC reboot. Vilasuso joined AMC in November 2010. He also appeared on Guiding Light.

Jordi Vilasuso (Griffin Castillo) is headed back to Pine Valley. The actor broke the news during a live on-air appearance on Soap Central Live.

"I actually wanted to save a lot of my answers to reach a lot more people on your show. I have been approached and I have verbally accepted to come back to the show," Vilasuso announced. "The Castillos will be back in Pine Valley. I talked to Lindsay Hartley (Cara Castillo) today and made sure that she was on board. And she's accepted, and we want to go and come back to Pine Valley. And we're really, really excited."

It's been a big couple of months for Vilasuso. In November, he and his wife, Kaitlin, welcomed their first child, Riley Grace, into the world.

The actor is also the co-founder of Paos Revolution, an entertainment company founded to produce online content of relevance to soap fans.

Vilasuso joined the cast of All My Children in November 2010 and remained with the long-running series through its series finale in September 2011. From 2000 to 2003, Vilasuso appeared as Tony Santos on the long-running CBS soap Guiding Light. In 2003, the actor was awarded his very first Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Younger Actor category.
